Why Nocyam exists
Most people don’t need more information. They need the right information, written plainly, at the moment a decision is in front of them — which savings account to open, whether a therapy app is worth the subscription, how to book a trip without overpaying, how to have a conversation that has been put off for months.
Nocyam publishes practical guides for exactly those moments. Every article is written to answer one real question completely, so you can act on it and close the tab.
What we cover
- Personal Finance — budgeting, saving, credit and debt, explained without jargon.
- Mental Health — stress, sleep, anxiety and everyday wellbeing, grounded in published research.
- Travel — planning, booking and packing for trips people actually take.
- Relationships — dating, communication and connection, covered honestly.
Across all four, we pay close attention to the apps and tools involved, because that is usually where the practical difference is made — and where most published advice is thinnest.
How we work
We write from research, not from press releases. Claims about money and health are tied to named sources, and we say plainly when evidence is mixed or thin. When we don’t know something, we write that instead of filling the gap.
Our full standards are set out in our Editorial Policy. Our funding and its limits are described in our Disclaimer.
Who runs Nocyam
Maycon da Silva Gonzaga — Founder and Editor
Maycon founded Nocyam to build the kind of reference he kept looking for and not finding: guides that respect the reader’s time and don’t hide the trade-offs. He oversees what gets published and is accountable for it.
